The Magic Rock And Gratitude.

London, UKA girl who is following her journey of learning and discovery through The Secret.
I am so thankful that I came across The Magic and The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. They have had a profound effect on my life and I can not wait to learn more. I particularly liked the exercise of using ‘The Magic Rock’ that is in the book, The Magic. It was a strange coincidence, or maybe not so much a coincidence, that a few weeks before I read the book, I had bought a lovely rock. It was about the size of a large pebble and it had such pretty patterns. It was an impulse buy. I remember at the time that I was thinking to myself that I had no idea why I was getting it, I just felt it was important. When I read Rhonda Byrne’s suggestion of using a ‘Magic Rock’ to feel gratitude at the end of each day, I knew exactly why I needed that rock!
I started to use my Magic Rock. The one golden rule is that whenever you touch or hold this rock, no negative thoughts what so ever are allowed to enter your mind. Only positivity and gratitude. The amazing part is that I have now discovered that when I hold the rock, I can actually feel a tingling energy from it. That feeling instantly lifts my mood, even if I have had a rough day. It is almost as if the rock is giving back to me the positivity I give out when using it. It really works!!
In addition, I have had some strange “coincidences” money wise. I tend to feel stressed about finances but after following The Secret, I started to remind myself of all I have to be grateful for, and for the money that I do have. I have now found money coming to me from unexpected sources. Whenever I have a bill or something to pay, I’ll find spare notes in my pocket that I didn’t realize were there. Or someone will offer to help me out. The other day there was another book I really wanted, but could not afford. The author is a friend of mine and he offered me a complimentary copy as a thank you for a review I had written for one of his previous books! All without me even asking or mentioning that I wanted a copy.
I’m still learning on this journey but from my own experiences so far, I can emphatically say that the power of gratitude really does work!
