I have used The Secret to manifest many things in my life. I have also read the The Magic and I have felt gratitude for many things in my life. However this story is not about me or my manifestations. It’s about my colleagues.

One of my colleague who is also my friend was expecting his salary appraisal. It had been 3 months past his due date and he hadn’t got his annual hike. He was growing anxious and frustrated every day. He would walk into the office ever day expecting a salary hike and would go back disappointed. His performance had been good so definitely it wasn’t his performance that was holding it back. So one day when he was feeling low I told him about The Magic check. I printed one copy for him and one copy for myself (not because I wanted a salary hike, just for fun). I wrote an amount for him and gave it to him. He didn’t take it seriously. He thought it was some kind of joke and tore the paper. On my copy I wrote an amount of Rs. 5,00,000. I folded that piece of paper a put it in my bag. That piece of paper was in my bag for a few weeks, whenever I saw it I didn’t have the heart to throw it away so I kept it with me.
One day another colleague of mine who is also a friend was telling me about how he had applied for a loan and 90% of the amount was approved but he still needed another Rs. 5,00,000. He asked me as a joke ‘Rashmi can you give me Rs. 5 lakhs and instead of saying no I gave him The Secret check which happened to be for Rs. 5 lakhs. I said ‘Take this the universe has approved your loan’ he kept the check with him. This entire conversation was very light hearted. Then very unexpectedly that same evening, my colleague came up to me and said ‘hey your magic check worked the bank just called and they have approved my loan amount for Rs 5 lakhs. I was so surprised. He was a non believer at first but he started getting curious about ‘The law of attraction’. He started asking me what are the other things I have attracted using The Secret? He also noticed the fact that the check had worked for my other colleague too. Not only did he get his annual appraisal they also gave him a check for the appraisal amount that was due for the past 3 months.
The best part was I had been hoping for certain things to work out for me but nothing seemed to be working but this experience has rekindled my faith and also shown me the importance of using tools in attracting the things you want.
