The Little Wizard.
This is just a short and sweet story because I read everyone else’s and they help me. I have many other stories, many bigger miracles have happened but I’ll just post this little one to start.
In the summer of 2013, my boyfriend and I were very interested in vintage lanterns. We got a few of them from here and there and were cleaning them up. I’d always liked lanterns, and one day we were looking online when I told my boyfriend which lantern I wanted.
We were looking at a photograph of a blue vintage lantern, called the “Little Wizard” “That’s the one I want” I told him. “A blue Little Wizard!” I looked at the picture, and really liked the Little Wizard and thought how I’d like to have one.
That day, we went on a long motorcycle ride, all the way down the other side of the Delaware River to get to a restaurant we liked that was outside of New Hope. On a small country road, we stopped. “Damn!” he said. “I made a wrong turn.” Immediately the words came clearly to my mind, “There are no wrong turns” and as we sat at the crossroads on his bike, he said “I think we have to turn back” but we stayed a moment and looked sideways. “Do you want to see what’s over there?” he asked me, I said “Sure.” and we walked over to a stone house which was for sale, and they had some things outside for sale. Right away, he saw it and pointed “Look!” he said. “The Little Wizard!” I cried out in happy excitement. There it was, hanging up, a blue, Little Wizard, just like in the picture. Nobody was home, so we went back the next day and bought it, for the exact price I wanted to pay, with the exact cash I had brought with me to pay for it!
