The little things are the fuel

Canada, AlbertaI am a 17 year old who has full fledged determination. I am a kindhearted and lively, spirited person. I live with my mother and three sisters and I have a pet cat. I am writing a screenplay that will pay my bills once I move out, for a very long time.
Well, it’s just about two years since I have been introduced to The Secret, and it wasn’t until I read “The Power” that I started actually understanding how to feel gratitude and love for the things in my life. From the near end of 2010, I looked back at all the things that came to me when I visualized them or felt that I had them.
I bought a few single albums of John Lennon in October, and as I paid for them I noticed his whole collection in a delux box set. There was only the one sitting there. Three days later it landed in my hands.
My mother came in with some money that she finally got from her ex husband, and I was really wanting a laptop. I visualized myself sitting at my desk in my bedroom typing away and surfing the net. Christmas 2010 came and I got a laptop just like the one in my mind when I had visualized it a month prior, and “The Secret Movie,” which I also had wanted.
I had left my job at McDonalds in late December feeling that it was time to go. And as I opened my mind up to having money, somehow I still obtained money through little events, whether it be chores, unpaid checks from work, or just getting money. An unexpected $190 landed in my account late January 2011.
There were a lot of other things, but there was one thing I really wanted, and that was “The Power”. My grandma and I talked about getting it for each other for Christmas. I bought her a copy and also a copy for another friend of mine. My grandma lives in Calgary so she had to mail my copy to me, but she never got me a copy. By the time January came I felt I was going to obtain the book some other way, and sure enough my mother took me out to the town center mall and I asked if I could get a book, and she immediately said yes.
After reading “The Power”, I have noticed that the things I ask for and that I am grateful for instantly appear right before my eyes.
Now I am in my last year of high school, and I do not drive yet, so I am stuck taking buses for the time being. But do you think that gets me down? Heck no! I merely walk out of my house to the bus stop and I immediately engage in feelings of gratitude and feeling good! Less than a minute, the bus comes around the corner at full speed as if it needs to eat me!!! Sometimes I attract TWO buses that will both get me home, and I even have the power to stop moving buses so I could get on them. This happens every day, and I never know when the buses come. I just ask for one, but most importantly I feel for one too.
Want to hear more? Well, I recently fell in love with chocolate danishes from “Tim Hortons” (coffee place), and every time I feel like having one somehow events just arrange themselves for me ending up receiving one!!! Whether it’s me paying for it or someone else. The universe moves things closer for me.
