I discovered The Secret because of my mom. She is very religious, but there was something that moved her to watch The Secret movie, and she even sent me a DVD of the movie to me as I was living in a different city from her.

So, I know The Secret since 2008. And I then I bought the book and it captivated me and filled me with positive vibes and gave me a different view of life.

Since 2006 I have wanted to move abroad. But it was only until 2008 that I decided that I really deserved to go wherever I wanted. I kept applying and applying to different positions, did many interviews, sent many documents and wrote many letters. But, deep inside I didn’t trust that it would happen to me because I felt that I didn’t have the qualities needed for the positions. Wrong, of course.

By the end of 2011, I read the book again and also I bought The Power. Therefore, I started telling myself that I could do anything that I wanted. I applied some of the techniques in The Secret. For example, I made a painting of me traveling. And I decidedly re-started to apply to positions in another continent. Some of the descriptions said that the position would start in August-September of 2012, so I marked my wall calendar of August in capital letters “POSITION WON, I AM MOVING ABROAD”. Also, I put a picture of the cities where I wanted to live as the wallpaper of my laptop.

In April of 2012, I got an email with a confirmation of one position! I was so happy that I cried when I read it in my office.

But, you know what?

There was another position that I wanted more, and I got a confirmation of that one in May!

I had TWO opportunities in my hand, and it was me and only me who could say yes or no to them. I was excited! And of course, I took the one I wanted the most, and I flew away in August, having the time of my life full of travels, meeting amazing people, getting to know different cultures, sharing my gifts and my love, and always with abundance.

I am so thankful to God because he gave us the power to manifest our dreams. I am so thankful to The Secret team for having the courage to create this project and sharing this fantastic information with the world.

I am now planning new travels and moving again, and am applying all the techniques of visualization and manifestation. I know my dream is becoming true. Also, I am asking the Universe to give me some big money that my family needs and I trust that money I wrote in the Magic Check is on its way to my door! 🙂
