Last Week Was Hard, Today Magic!
Submitted by: Cris
ArgentinaMy brother was diagnosed with a tumor in the head. The surgery was last Monday. After several hours of waiting, the surgeon’s diagnosis was not good. The tumor was malignant. That night we returned to our house with an immense grief and sadness. But something happened that night, something strange and magical at the same time…
A friend of mine wrote me an email with these words:
Now breathe deeply, relax and regain control over you. It’s the best way to convey your energy to your brother, who needs to fight. Focus on it. Believe me he is going to survive. Do it from the depths of your being, with all the necessary feeling. If it is necessary, stay away from the rest of your family and focus. Concentrate on the good you have at your fingertips – your affections, your dance, your windsurfing, and your daughter, and so on. These things make you feel good and happy. This is what you need to do at this time to be strong.
So I did, or tried to. The next day I woke up singing a song. I did not know what song it was, but I sang and sang. The surprise was that my brother loves the singer who sings that song.
We returned to the hospital and the diagnosis had changed… SPECTACULAR, SPECTACULAR. From there my brother is evolving day by day. Last Friday he was discharged.
God exists! A big hug to all from Argentina
