Yesterday, once again after a long time, I listened to a few chapters of The Secret audiobook. I noticed that I needed to focus more on my own happiness and wellbeing again. I heard the story of someone who asked for a bouquet and she got it. I thought to myself that I wanted to test my connection to the Universe again. And above all, I wanted to know at what frequency I was vibrating.

I sat at the table during a coffee break, closed my eyes, and wished to get for myself a wonderful bouquet of lilac, pink and white flowers. I imagined it on my dining table at home and then I thanked the Universe for this wonderful surprise. I felt a feeling of warmth flowing through me. As I started feeling happier and happier, a little tear of joy ran down my cheek. I had not felt this fulfilled in a long time.

When I got home I took a vase from the shelf and put it on the dining table so that I could put the flowers in the water as soon as I received them. Then I went to the kitchen and started preparing dinner. When my husband came home, he told me how stressful and exhausting his day had been. I took him in my arms, kissed him on the forehead, and told him to take a shower. I set the table and when he had finished showering we started to eat.

Suddenly the doorbell rang and I knew it was my mother because she comes in every evening or I go to her when she is not working. I opened the door and I could not believe what I was seeing. My mother was standing in front of me with two beautiful, large orchids in lilac, white and pink! After I put the vase on the table, I realized that I had completely forgotten what I had wished for! There were my flowers. Not just a bouquet but my favorite flowers in my favorite colors. Since my mother is also an avid reader of The Secret, I told her my story and we had to laugh so much. Like we were singing in a chorus, we both said at the same time, thank you, thank you, thank you!
