The Comeback.

TexasI've worked in architecture and development for 30 years. Recently divorced. Love family.
My story begins in 2006. A highschool friend of mine had asked me to help him design and build a rehab center for him. My history in architecture didn’t fully equip me to handle this task. But I was up for the challenge. Right after we began I found out my father had terminal lung cancer, yet he never smoked. He died 3 months later. We mourned and went right back to work. Around a year later my mother was diagnosed with leukemia. She died 2 years and two weeks after my father. I was in a constant state of rage. But we kept working. A number of my family members began to die in succession, my business lost a great deal of money and my wife and I at that time, were not doing well.
I had the movie The Secret in my possession. After watching it several times I began to take action. My wife and I separated and divorced. I took a job making exactly the money I wanted and my business came back to life again. The company that I was hired by to design a rehab center had me do more. I also was instrumental in creating it’s business plan, due diligence of buying land, hiring architects, engineers and construction. Then I found the funding to build it at the tune of $500 million.
Most of the time when I focused only on what I wanted, it was given to me. Now I only focus on what is needed and I’m blessed with it. The healing of the loss of my parents, my company being reborn, building another’s company and now my renewed relationship with a past love, whom I met and wanted to marry before my wife, are now all a reality.
There is no replacement or better solution than a clear idea, thought, planning followed by action. These were only precluded via my asking within a prayer. Words can’t express how grateful I am for The Secret being given to me. Ask, believe and receive. I am grateful for all that I have. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
