I set out to look at some books in Wal Mart, and all of a sudden while I was browsing, The Secret came to my mind. I had heard of the book before and the powers it contains, so I got a little excited and set out to find it. Then while I was browsing, a moment of doubt came over me telling me the typical nay sayer things about it. I looked up and over without even thinking of it and I looking over at the book table I saw the book “How The Secret Changed My Life”.

I figured it wasn’t a coincidence that I thought to get The Secret. That I had a few moments of doubt and then I saw a book literally telling me how it can change my life. So I bought the book and read a page from it while in my truck, and proceeded to the mall where I found a notebook with the words “Today is the perfect day to start living your dreams”.

When I got home, I passed my mailbox and it was empty. I decided that I would write down points from the book in my notebook, since I didn’t want to mark up the book. I read a few of the stories and came across the one of a woman recounting a cheque she made out that she obtained from The Secret website. It was a cheque from The Universe Bank. Immediately, the amount of 10 million dollars came to my mind and I printed off a copy and wrote out the amount. A nay saying moment washed over me again, saying that it is too much. But I read a bit more of the book and declared that I am now the owner of 10 million dollars and that it is mine and money comes to me in abundance.

Well, I had been home for 10 minutes and had to run out quickly. As I passed my mailbox again I noticed an envelope perched on top and sticking out. Moments after declaring that money comes to me in abundance, I had a cheque for $101.83 in the mail!
