I want to tell you that The Secret has changed my life and way of thinking. One of my friends was telling me that she had started reading this book called “The Secret”, and was telling me different things that were in the book. I decided that I needed to change my way of thinking since things have not been going that great in my life. Prior to even hearing about The Secret we decided to sell our dream home to get closer to my parents and buy a much smaller home. In the meantime my husband’s place of employment told him they were going to have to let him go because he was the newest one hired, so he lost his job. I thought this is it, I have to get this book and turn things around.

I have just started reading it and have not finished it. I have been focusing on being positive on things, bills, etc. 2 weeks ago I was pulling into my driveway and I kept telling myself that there were no bills in the mailbox, that it was going to be just fun mail or maybe a check (like the book said). The mailbox was empty, and my son had gotten the mail. I asked him what he did with the mail and he told me he had laid it on the chair. I didn’t go to the mail right away – changed my clothes, and started supper. Then I remembered – Oh! I better check to see what was in the mail. There were a couple of pieces of junk mail, and then there was an envelope that looked like a check. I opened it and it was a check for $265.00 that did not even have an explanation what it was for, except a refund. I do not send for rebates, etc. so I knew it was not that. I took it to the bank and showed it to the tellers to make sure it was a real check, and they said it looked like a real check and would deposit to my account but would hold it for 2 weeks just in case.

They have notified me that the check was good and money has been applied to my account!!!!!! I was so excited when I got the check and even more excited when it was good!!!! I have also been pulling into parking places and saying, I am getting a front row parking spot, and sure enough it is there. I have been telling my Husband that he is getting a great job, that I know it’s coming but just do not know when. I can just feel it. This really works and I believe it with all my heart. It is on my mind all the time to think positive and what I want I will have.
