I lost my mum 14 years ago, and that was the worst thing that could ever happen to my sister, dad and I. We were a very close and loving family, however with God’s help we pulled through.

Six years ago I had a difficult pregnancy with my one and only daughter, and later on suffered from depression and panic attacks. I depended on anti-depressants but was able to wean myself off of them and recovered.

This year I lost my job, and almost lost my wonderful marriage.

I learned about The Secret a few years ago through a friend at work whilst I was in a teaching role, however it sat on my bedside cabinet for almost two years.

This year after loosing my job and feeling that my world was falling apart I picked up the book and decided to read chapter after chapter, I have also watched the film.

It taught me how to come through this tough time in my life. I am still unemployed but I truly believe I am going to fulfill my dream of having my own catering business and everything is falling into place, I can feel my success is coming.
There are days when I catch my thoughts being negative, but I quickly turn them around and change them to positive. I have learned to appreciate the simple things around me, and see the good things in my marriage and how to keep my family happy. I thank God and the Universe everyday, and spread my positivity onto others, even if it’s just through a smile.

For me this is just the beginning and it was so easy, just to feel the joy, content and excitement and to believe the best is yet to come. I also feel an abundance of wealth coming my way, and those thoughts make me so happy. I concentrate on gratitude, believing and visualization. It’s truly working for me and it will work for you, too.
