I am the biggest cynic about books. I have always seen them as simply someone’s opinion. I never felt compelled to read The Secret. My family and friends constantly raved about The Secret, and I would roll my eyes to high heaven and really dismiss them and the book, thinking it’s just another self-help book full of hogwash. When my sister finally bought her own copy, she urged me to ‘just take a peek’. Needless to say, I have never put it down.

It has so transformed my life. At the time I was having problems with my driving classes, and I began using the Secret to attract my license. I honestly could not believe the law of attraction was so powerful when I received it. Still a bit cynical, thinking I was just lucky, I decided to use it on my relationship. Things have never been better with my boyfriend.

It really is overwhelming to realize just how much power we hold with our thoughts. I have a list of things I want and believe I am getting, actually already saying thanks for receiving them. Now I’m quoting it just like the people I rolled my eyes at, and anyone who knows me can’t believe it!
