This is really just an amusing anecdote that does remind those of us who are living THE SECRET to be clear in our minds when we are putting out the thoughts.

I was writing quite a large cheque which had to be sent shortly before Christmas, and as I placed it in the pre-paid envelope my thought was, ‘This will be returned to me’. I am sure you all know what is coming next! Two days later I received a phone call from the recipient of my payment. His words were, ‘You know, you must have too much money, you have overpaid me, so I have returned your cheque.’

I couldn’t help but laugh, the universe had taken me quite literally! It just goes to prove though that getting your thoughts in order & thinking exactly what you mean, really will work wonders.

Incidentally, I re-wrote the lesser cheque with deep gratitude, first for the honesty of the recipient and return of money, and secondly for proving to me that the universe is closely attentive to our every thought, and has also got a wicked sense of humour!
