The $20,000 check

A few years ago, I was involved in a disability law suit. My attorney said the Disability Company would eventually settle with me and I would get $5,000 at the most. This attorney is a nationally known attorney, so you would think I would have believed her and just decided that $5,000 was the most I would get. But, no. I decided that $5,000 wasn’t sufficient considering the circumstances, feeling that $20,000 was more appropriate. So, I held that thought. I had no idea how or why they would pay me $20,000. I mean, it is an insurance company and they never want to pay more than they have to.
Then I read The Secret and watched the DVD. In May of 2007, I wrote out a $20,000 check from the Disability company to me. I dated it June 2007, signed it and put it up on my vision/manifesting board. With no notice or call from the Disability company, I received a check on June 4, 2007 for $3,600. Talk about immediate! Now, it wasn’t the $20,000, but I knew it was still coming. Then in September 2007 they sent me another check for $7,680, again with no call or notice from them. Two days ago they actually called me, for the first time ever, and said they will send me a final check for $5,720. $17,000 total.
