Back in 2009 I was in China (and I am still here) running my small web design studio, when a good friend first talked to me about The Secret, it immediately got my attention. I am a very skeptic man, I only believe in hard work, and didn’t believe in miracles. However, as I read the book, it all made sense so I decided to give it a try.

My first try was more an experiment, and it has marked my life since then, and I now do believe in miracles! I downloaded the The Secret Check from The Secret website and wrote on it the amount of 100,000 RMB, about $17,000 USD, that would be enough to pay an old debt.

Then I followed The Secret, visualized that the check was real, that the money was in my hands already, and I was grateful for it every day. I also changed from complaining, to being a positive person. I started to act in a certain way.

Six months passed, nothing happened, and I had totally forgotten about this check. By then, it was the world crisis, business was bad, and suddenly an old colleague that was doing great, called me. He wanted to start a new online company, and he knew me from being the IT Manager in our former company. He asked me to join him as a partner to develop the website system.

I suggested before talking about partnership, we start as a regular project. Then I gave him a rough quotation: graphic design 18,000 RMB, 3 months website development 60,000 RMB, total 78,000 RMB + taxes.

He was very happy I was joining him, and money was not a problem for him, so he told me “I want you happy, include the taxes, give an invoice and I’ll round it all to 100,000 RMB”.

I was so happy, I felt I made a great deal. I arrived home and my wife was happy too. Then I sat at my desk, and suddenly I saw the check. Then I remembered it all, a deep feeling of surprise, a great feeling, came to me. It was beyond my imagination, it was a miracle! Thanks, thanks, thanks!

Since then I blindly believe in The Secret, and I apply it to my life as much as I can.

It has not being easy for me though, it requires perseverance, and I am trying to make it part of my daily life now. After that check, I also got a free trip to the London Olympics, a new car, 3 times the money I asked for the first time, and much more.

Keep your faith, act in a certain way and you can’t fail!
