I had years where I had been knocked down personally, professional and financially. I’ve been in serious debt 3 times and had multiple jobs throughout my lifetime. I’ve been lost on many occasions and suffered from hidden depression for many years.
About 3 years ago I had a mental breakdown and began counselling to try to fix me. I was at another financial and emotional low point.

I began to question what was it all about and even though I’d already purchased The Secret some years back, I hadn’t actually read it. I was scanning for a film and saw the film version of The Secret and decided to watch it. I was inspired. I downloaded The Secret To Money app, I wrote my desires down and began to visualise the future.

Over the course of the next 12 months I began a journey that has ticked off many of those desires. The first one was a new job and the second was family commitment, all of which I am truly grateful for.

I made a bank statement up with a figure in my account and kept visualising it, all the time wondering if it was one cheque or payment. Little did I realise that when my end of year tax came through, the figure I wrote was the figure I earned last year.

I admit there are days I slip and bring doubt and fear back in and I soon realise and revert to gratitude for all I have and visualise my desires. I have always come out of the dark and always been OK and now I understand why. For that I am truly grateful. I have actually started to read the book for the first time properly and can only see good things in the future.
