I got married at age 22, and since then I tried to get pregnant; my biggest dream is to have many kids. Every month I got my period, and again I used to cry and couldn’t understand why, in my young age, I have problems. After 2 years of trying, we went to a fertility expert, and she tried almost everything, from hormones, to sperm injections and many more treatments, but month after month nothing happened. I can’t describe the emptiness and the sadness that I had every month, counting 28 days to know if I’m pregnant and then, nothing.

Then I saw the movie of The Secret which reminded me of a Kabbalah book that I read once. I started to imagine myself pregnant every day during recess time in my class, even for 2 minutes. I painted pregnant women all day long, I wrote the sentence “thanks God, I’m pregnant. God is good he helps me” hundreds of times. I took a picture of pregnant woman and I glued my head onto it and looked at it every day and night. I dreamt about myself buying new maternity clothes. I was writing letters to GOD telling him my sadness and asking him all the time to show me the solution – the way to be pregnant.

Then one day I went for my doc appointment, and the “fertility expert” told me she is leaving the clinic, and I should look for someone else to try help me. Well, I was in shock after a year of treatment, why now? We might have been so close! Well I decided that God does everything for a good reason, so I bought her flowers to thank her, even though she didn’t help at all. I then took a break from treatment for a while

One day my sister in law told me to go see a doctor in the city, she heard about him from her friend. He charged $1000 for an appointment, but I didn’t have the money, so I rejected the idea. A month later, I heard the name again, then 2 weeks later an offer from a family member offered to pay the visit. I agreed to take the money and go, even though the doctor wasn’t a fertility expert, just a regular doctor. At my first appointment with him, he immediately knew what my problem was that prevented me from being pregnant for 5 years! By the second appointment, the doctor gave me some medication and I had a 20 minute procedure to cleanse the uterus and tubes.

On the 3rd visit I was pregnant!

Thanks God – he helps me with his power; this power is within all of us. On Valentine’s day I gave birth to a beautiful amazing baby girl!
