After many times of going back and forth on if I should post my story or not, mainly because I knew how long it would be, I finally decided to do it! It’s my way of saying thank you to all of the others who have posted stories that have inspired me and kept me going. I also want to start off by saying thank you to the entire Team of The Secret, because it has changed my life!

My story with the The Secret, (Law of Attraction) started 2 years ago. I was sitting around thinking about how I wanted to have more control over my life when I remembered how I saw a show on different lottery winners, and how one woman had attracted a lottery win through positive thinking. Well I forgot about it, but low and behold (the universe in action) that exact episode came on a week later and I watched it. I was intrigued, but not convinced, so I again left it alone. However, later that week I was attracted to a show that I usually don’t watch. This show was a new kitchen give away, and when the contractors/designers came to the winner’s house he had “I Am A Winner” written on posted notes all over his house. That got my attention, and I decided to Google positive thinking, which brought me to law of attraction and to The Secret.

The first time I watched The Secret I have to admit I was a little scared. I thought, my thoughts are controlling my reality and I have no control of my thoughts! However after I bought the book, and re-watched the movie a second time I got excited. As suggested, I started out with little things like parking spaces, not having to wait in line at the store, a coffee drink or what not.

This was amazing, but I still wasn’t convinced because I am a skeptic of everything. So I decided I was going to really test the universe. I asked to see a shooting star, which is not something I see often considering I live in a crowded city with pollution. So after my request I was standing on my patio, certain I would see one and I saw one come from the corner of my eye! I couldn’t believe it! So much so that I said that it didn’t count because I couldn’t be sure if I actually saw it.

So I got more specific, this time saying I want to clearly see it, right in front of me and even drew the shape I wanted to see with my finger. I waited for about one minute, while continually saying I’m going to see one and it came! EXACTLY as I said it would. That sealed my belief in law of attraction from that day on because there was no denying what I saw.

Since that day, I have attracted so many things intentionally that I could literally talk about it all day. I attracted two dream moves, $6,000 extra dollars to go to school with, a great job from the Vortex (for those who know Abraham’s teachings), new furniture, a trip to San Diego, and more.

When I read The Magic and did all the practices, I had the most amazing things happen to me. Someone randomly paid my bill at a restaurant. My two grandmothers just offered me money that month. I mean countless things that literally made my life feel magical. The Secret stories also gave me the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and I have found my soul-mate as the result!

And just today I got my dream body. I had been reading The Secret stories on how people had changed their appearance, and I just decided to say that I wear a size 4 and weigh 130 pounds. Well I started saying that about 5 days ago, and today my pants almost fell off because they are now way to big. This prompted me to check the scale today and I weigh 130 pounds exactly! Unbelievable, I lost almost 10 pounds in 5 days not exercising or dieting, and just going with the flow.

On top of all this, The Secret has led me on an unexpected spiritual journey. My journey with The Secret started with wanting to get stuff, and instead has turned into me finding who I am and getting in touch with my spiritual being.

My advice to anyone reading this is to just relax and be easy about it. Creation is easy, it’s the way of life. There is no right or wrong way to create. I remember I was constantly looking for a certain formula someone could tell me on how to get what I want. But with my journey I’ve realized that I have manifested specific things by visualization, affirmations, being angry and demanding the universe to deliver, completely forgetting about what I want, focusing on it, you name it.

However, I will say the way that has yielded me the most results is simply letting go. Going with the flow, and being open to whatever life has to bring you has brought me things I never imagined. So be easy about it, have fun and enjoy your new life!
