In July of 2022, I started a new job at a local university. It was an IT job that I was ecstatic about. I was returning to work after having Covid when this opportunity presented itself. I decided not to go back to my old job and start off with my new job. Looking back over everything, I’m not sure if that was a good idea. I had prayed, showed gratitude, and was super excited about my new job.

I didn’t realize it then but I now know that I was suffering from brain fog. I did every wrong thing I could possibly do. It’s a miracle that I made it through the first week. My boss looked for more ways to fire me than to keep me. I was determined to make this work. I worked twice as hard as others, I came in early and stayed late. My Boss decided he would at least give me a fair chance since I was such a hard worker. He gave me several tests I could take to boost my skills and it would be one of the determining factors in his decision to make me permanent. My contract was coming to an end and I was still trying to pass my test. I’m so grateful for The Secret, because of it I couldn’t give up. I knew the Universe was on my side.

My boss decided to extend my contract without me passing a test. Guess what? I am not a good test taker but I passed one of the hardest tests I’ve ever had to take. I have one down and one to go. I’m not sure about a lot of things but I’m sure I’ll pass my test and retire from my job.
