Test Anxiety.

I am in my second year in Veterinary Medicine which they describe as the hardest year. This thought was incorporated in my mind long before I entered this year. When the semester started, I was so excited and when the exams came up, I became anxious and ended up thinking thoughts that I will fail. I studied very hard for every exam and I still get a passing score. I was really aiming for the exemption to lessen my stress by the end of the semester. I always have this positive disposition that I can do better on the next exam but there’s this one subject that is hard and I massively failed in that exam. I blamed myself for getting sick and losing motivation.
I tried to find every method and technique to get back on track. After several methods, I was looking through my e-mail and I noticed that was subscribed to the newsletter from this site long ago. I read a story of student who had the same struggle as me. I came to a realization that the answer is right in front of me but I ignored it. So, I downloaded an app that can help me meditate, cleanse my thoughts and apply the law of attraction.
After a few days, I confided to my high achiever classmate about my struggle and anxiety during exams. She enlightened me a lot and it was good timing since there is an upcoming exam for the subject that I failed. I learned to relax during exams, manage my time, read my lectures multiple times and study the subject so I know it by heart. During the exam, I was able to answer all the questions confidently! Even though I am still waiting for the results, now I was able to overcome my anxiety and overthinking.
