It was time to file my first year’s taxes for my business. I hate figures so my accountant was dealing with it for me.
However, the money I had put to one side over the past year to pay towards my taxes was gone because I had to use it to stay afloat during the pandemic. As this was my first year trading, I had no idea what the figure I needed to pay would be and I was starting to get anxious.

I decided to imagine not having to pay any taxes at all. In fact, I started to imagine that I would get a tax rebate. Every time I started to worry I cleared my mind and imagined feeling delighted that no tax was due. My accountant was super quiet and with just a few days before the date we had to file, he called me.

He told me I didn’t have any tax to pay due to me overpaying tax the year before when I was employed. Not only that, he told me I was due a £25 rebate!!

I was so grateful I thanked the Universe!
