Susie’s Diamond

Seattle, WA.I'm a 56 year old Wife, Mom & G-Ma. Who truly believes in The Secret! I garden avidly and love to watch things grow, yes, I verbally encourge my plants!
In 1997 I lost my beloved older sister to an overdose, her husband gave me her flawless Emerald cut diamond solitare. I wore her ring when I lived in Hawaii & found a setting with 2 entwined dolphins on Maui and had it customized to hold Susie’s Diamond, it showcased the stone beautifully.
This summer I took on a gardening/house cleaning job for a friend. 4 days ago I cleaned and gardened for 6 hrs. I was headed home on a 2 hour bus ride home when I looked down and looked at my hand too see my diamond missing! Devastated does not begin to describe the heartache I felt as I began to cry – that stone could be anywhere in the house or vegtable garden! It would be easier to find a needle in a haystack!
I sent out pleas for FaceBook friends to pray I find it, I prayed to St.Anthony and looked up miracle stories of lost & found. I found The Secret website and read stories. I decided that the next time I went back to my friends, I’d find that stone. For 2 days I imagined that I would find it, I pictured it as just laying there waiting for me to pick it up!
On the morning I was to return, I told myself that today was the day that it would come home with me. I set out that morning to go back and look for it believing I’d find it, just a matter of time. When I got to my friends home, I went into the bathroom that I had cleaned so vigorously and got down on my hands and knees and looked very carefully around the base of the toilet. I saw what looked like a piece of glass at first, my heart skipped a beat and I knew I’d found it. I looked closer and sure enough, there was Susie’s Diamond caught between a crack in the floor and toilet. I pried it out with my fingernail and realised I’d been at my friend’s house only 5 minutes!
Believe in the miracle of The Secret and find much more than a valuable treasure. Thank You, Jana S.
