Surviving An 8.3 Magnitude Earthquake.

Thanks to each and every person , who brought The Secret to us. It literally saved me and my family.
It was April 25 of 2015, around noon and I was complaining to my mom about chilly weather in the summer. After staring out of the window to the airport runway, I turned on the TV and pulled in the comforter and suddenly everything started to shake. I didn’t know what was happening as I had never experienced something like this. My mom screamed earthquake. I heard a huge crumbling noise. At first I thought it was the roof but thanks to God it wasn’t. I simply wished to keep us and our home safe and sound. I didn’t want to become homeless, but the crumbling noise I heard was our neighbour’s house. I saw it go down only to realize an old lady was inside it. The way it fell down, it could crash in our house too, taking us down. I call it a miracle, even being so close, it didn’t even touch our house and everyone was amazed. I collected my phone and money and my mom rushed me and my siblings outside and we left for open ground. Calls began to flow in to bring in relief. Most of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites within Kathmandu were nothing but rubble.
It was a long month of aftershocks, sleeping in the open and not knowing when death might come calling you. But I had faith that we would be safe and sound. What really surprised me is that even my cousins and my whole family were alright even though during the earthquake they were in most threatening areas like the terrace. My house didn’t suffer any damages because I had faith it wouldn’t and it didn’t.
So all I am trying to say is that at that time I hadn’t read The Secret. I had only heard about it from my best friend but I felt like there were some powers that fulfilled my wish and it wasn’t hard for me to believe. I had applied it before I understood it and now that I know exactly what it is I am having a blast. So people, faith even wins over death. Keep believing, it will bring you wonders, fear and it will bring you grief.
