Surprise Free Flight!

India, KeralaJust another usual man from the southern part of India. Living the role of a call center executive at one of the MNC's Indian division. My job helps me support my family and I feel great about that.
It was on 2013, when my friend suggested this book. I was very curious about The Secret when he explained how it turned his life around. I started to read the book. I read it in a single stretch. My friend warned me not to rush. So I read it again. This time with more care. I tried to grasp the essence. The more I read it the more it became clear. I got excited about the potential that humans have with their minds and thoughts. I tried many things but they all failed. However, each time this book still kept me going. The words and gave me strength. Strength to believe.
From my childhood I had a wish to fly. Whenever I see an aeroplane, I would picture myself in that flight talking to fellow passengers or cabin crew members. But I never had the money or a reason to board a plane. I would just imagine the scene and leave it. Once I got this book, I tried many things including imagining the feather thing as explained in The Secret. Feather didn’t show up. But then I learned to improve my imagination by adding a special ingredient; the feel. After that I joined a new job as a customer care executive and I almost forgot about Aeroplane.
I was on a leave and was at home when I got a call from my office. The call was very brief, they asked if I was ready to travel to Mumbai and work there for one day. The office would take care of the travel expenses and guess what?!!
The mode of transportation was by air! The company would pay the full amount for travel and other expenses. I just said a big yes!! I never had the amount to purchase air tickets, yet I travelled by air without spending a single penny. Also I purchased my dream camera, a DSLR! I feel grateful about it.
Now I understand, it’s about how you see things. For any bad situation, we can change the outcome just by doing simple things, believe and be grateful for what you have.
