I always had a big group of friends at school but then after a fight with one of them, I decided to leave that group as things got too toxic. It got to the point where I would rather be alone than with them.

I went to college hoping to make new friends and have a fun college life, however, I joined college late and by that time all the groups had been formed and I found it hard to fit in. I felt awkward and weirdly shy. But after a while, I felt really desperate to make some friends as it could be pretty lonely and boring living on campus without any friends.

I tried to make friends every day. I tried and tried and tried. Still, nothing changed. I just could not do it. It was my final semester of college as most of it was online due to the covid pandemic, and I still had no friends. Maybe that was my problem. I was trying too hard to control every aspect of it. I had no faith or patience.

Then one day, I felt so exhausted and hopeless that I decided to stop trying and instead focus on what blessings I already had. Once I started counting my blessings, I realized that I really had a lot to be grateful for. That was the game changer. Having so much gratitude even for the smallest things in my life shifted my perspective. I was brimming with positivity and joy. So, like attracts like. Slowly, without me even realizing it, people started talking to me. They wanted to hang out with me, get dinner with me, and everything else. It all happened so organically and quickly that at the end of the month I had a group of friends I genuinely enjoyed hanging out with. They were fun and kind.

Tomorrow I am graduating with them and I am so grateful for everything this experience has taught me.  Thank you for The Secret Super App.

Learn to be okay without your manifestation. This releases attachment to the result which is the key to the “letting it go” part Rhonda talks about. Its faith in its every essence.
