It has been a month since The Secret entered our life. I felt for a long time that we were always struggling, seeing nothing but struggle in our future (didn’t figure that one out till after I read and watched The Secret). For the past 3 months I have started doing a lot of work on “me” – I dealt with anxiety for a long time, which came to a boiling point and I had to make myself better.

Money used to be my biggest stresser. I woke up every morning, waiting… not exactly sure for what, just a feeling of waiting for impending doom. Since learning the Secret I have just let those old feeling I had around money go… I have realized that we are doing pretty well – two beautiful, healthy babies, we have a beautiful house (needs some work, but I truly LOVE my house), we have food, clothes, toys, jobs (my list goes on and on)… and we have enough money.

Since letting go of my feelings around money, the reasons for the past stresses have seemed to disappear. Collection agencies don’t call here anymore (because they have been paid). The phone, cable, or gas isn’t getting cut off and the disconnection notice isn’t in the mail (because they have been paid). Money is coming out and the bills are getting paid. And it’s not that we have made, acquired, or borrowed anymore money… it’s actually quite the opposite. I can’t really explain it. All I can say is whatever I was doing wrong before I am not doing anymore, and our money is just working.

My goal after I learned the Secret was to work on updating our bathroom. I made a vision board and one of the pictures on it is of a bathroom in a magazine I found that is the bathroom I want. AND TONIGHT… I was downstairs cleaning the bathroom that we never use, and there it was – the EXACT medicine cabinet/mirror that I needed. It was ridiculous. I just stopped and thought, “Oh, it’s been right in front of me the whole time. That mirror is the start of my new bathroom.” Tonight was my slap in the face realization that perhaps the Secret will bring to me everything that I want, need, and desire, and I am now so very excited to watch each day unfold.
