This story is about me and my current husband whom I first met through a common friend and it was like love at first sight. I proposed him and his reply was no. But there was an inner voice from the day I met him in 2003, saying that he is the perfect life partner and I want to share the rest of my life with him.

Years passed and I kept on trying and he kept on rejecting me but my subconscious mind said that he was the one and to keep myself positive.

It was in mid 2007 when he accepted my proposal but by then my family raised their rejection on the marriage because he belonged to another community and inter-caste marriage was totally a ‘no, no’! However, we both were very positive. Both of us were thinking positive to get married with the permission and blessings of our families.

Then one day one of my relatives gifted us this book called The Secret. Reading that book and later watching the video changed our lives. With a positive mindset we kept on explaining to our family about our love and within few months, families agreed happily for the marriage! Also we both got fantastic opportunities to grow in our careers.

Today after 6 years of marriage, we both are happily settled. We are really thankful to the author and to the person who introduced us to the world of The Secret, which not only helped us to achieve things in life but improved our view of the world. Thank you!
