Two years ago my life was a downward spiral. I had just gotten my second drinking and driving offense, was about to lose my job because of my drinking offense, failed my first college class, broke up with my boyfriend who soon started to date my very best friend. I seriously wanted to die and thought nothing could ever go my way. Then I walked to into the book store looking for inspirational quotes to bring a little happiness to my life. I found the The Secret and flipped through the pages and decided to buy it.

I read through the book everyday and visualized my self happy and put together like I once was. I dreamed of my dream guy who would treat me perfect and be my best friend, I made a post board of my best pictures and things that I want in my life and I placed a picture of happy couples on a beach because I LOVE the beach. Every night I would look at the pictures and say to myself one day I’m going to find my true love and be completely happy.

A month later my friend asked me to go up north on a trip we take every summer. I really didn’t want to go and was trying to find anyway not to, but I went anyway.

When I was there I ran into a guy who went to my high school, who was a few years older than me, and we hit it off immediately. He had moved up north to live on the beach and after the weekend trip I soon started going up there every weekend.

We had the most amazing time falling in love on the beach and watching sunsets together. It was truly a dream and I know I visualized him into my life. We now have been together for two years and spend everyday together. This summer we are taking a road trip around the country. I truly found my best friend and soul mate because of positive thinking and visualizing.

I also graduated college this May with honors and received my driving license back.
