I have been struggling through many health issue. One after another, many doctors told me that I might be a suitable candidate for both heart and kidney transplants. I already had undergone one renal transplant 9 years back so I know the complications and I was worried with the current news.

I was introduced to The Secret by my friend at workplace some 2 years ago, when the first time I was diagnosed with CCF. I tried to implement the principles listed here, but again and again my mind was going back to negative thoughts about my health and I found no way to control it. Then recently some thing shocking has occured, about a month back, I was told by my doctor to be prepared for dialysis as I am at stage 4 and stage 5 is near.

I was devastated. I went to my previous nehphrologist who re-affirmed his belief and suggested for me to meet the cardiac surgeon for the heart transplantation. I was not feeling good and was unable to eat anything so I went to my parent’s house. After talking to my brothers, I got to understand that they are with me through thick and thin but this is my battle and I have to take control of it. From that day I started affirming and believing that my health is in my hands and nobody can dictate my destiny until I give power to them.

With this in my mind I went and met with the cardiac surgeon, who after examining me, told me that I can live another 20 years with medication and no transplant is needed for me. They will try to see if my condition can be reversed through medication. Then today I got my renal function reports, there is a big improvement from the previous one. These things are good enough for keeping my faith strong, my medicines have been reduced and I am feeling so lucky.
