Sign From My Dad.
Submitted by: Penny Cook
St Ives Cambs UKI’m a breast cancer survivor, a chartered Physiotherapist and great believer in positive thinking. The Secret is what got me through my cancer treatment and what has inspired me to be the best I can in helping people through physiotherapy.
I had lost my dad in 2107. He had passed just 2 days before I finished radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer. My dad was always my hero and he always will be. I really miss him a lot. Not every night but just some nights, I will say good night to my dad and talk about the things going on in my life.
On Wednesday night 5th May, I said good night to my dad, “Good night Dad, I love you and miss you so much. I wish I could hold you and feel your love. I hope you are doing OK and that you are proud of me and watching over us. If you could you give me a sign that you are, I would love that. I love you, Dad.”
The very next day I received a call from a new Physiotherapy client. When asked the man his name he had the same first name and surname, spelled the same way, as my dad. He was also born the same year. And they both are from London! I could not believe it!
So thank you, Dad, for the sign and bringing the gentleman to me so I could help him! I feel so very grateful and happy to know he is well and that I am making him proud. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
