My husband and I drive a Subaru WRX sedan, which we bought brand new and have had for the past 10 years. It has taken very good care of us and kept us safe all those years. We love our car very much and do our best to maintain it’s good condition mechanically and aesthetically. We have even given it a nickname, “BluBerry”.

A few years ago we moved in with my parents to help them with their house mortgage and utilities bills. My younger brother still lives with my parents and has had no intention of moving out or helping my parents financially. He is also the jealous type and does not take responsibility for anything including his actions. My parents put up with his actions or lack-of because they feel guilt about asking him for help when he has no job and they are also scared of him because of his terrible temper.

Last year, my brother started damaging our car. He began denting and scratching the body with a screwdriver including damaging the lights. Some parts were so bad that it began to rust in certain areas. The damages were too much for us to fix at the time. We were quoted that overall repair would cost us about $2,000.
We felt down by this but were still very thankful that we had a good running car.

Having known about The Secret” for over 7 years, we chose to remain grateful for our car and asked the Universe for help on fixing our car and making it beautiful again. We had no idea of how we were going to come up with that much money and did not try to work out details of how it would come to us. We just placed our faith in the Universe and knew that the Universe would find a way.

A couple of months passed and my brother was still causing trouble towards us. The situation at my parents’ house began to worsen and we soon found ourselves focusing too much on our unpleasant moods.

Unfortunate things began to take place. I was injured at work, which I was out for over three months and then by the end of the year, I got into an accident. Thankfully, I was uninjured during that accident but our car was smashed. As a mechanic, my husband was able to get it to run decent again but BluBerry looked worse. The bumper had to be tied on to the frame, the front lights were broken, and the hood was bent and scratched terribly. This brought us down even more and the cost to repair it rose. We almost lost faith on ever getting it fixed.

However, I kept thinking of all the things that I was very grateful for. I am thankful for my family the most. My husband and son mean the world to me. We have remained close through these stressful times and always, always spend family time together, usually away from the house or my brother, in which we can be happy and free from all these negative thoughts and feelings. Although the accident and my injury were unpleasant and unfortunate, we chose to be thankful for what we have and for each other, for my healing and our car, for our safety and protection, and for the Universe always finding ways to help us.

A month after my car accident, my husband was hit by an car while driving BluBerry. He was shocked but thankfully, completely safe and unharmed. However, our car was totaled. At this point, we thought we’d never drive our car again.

It took us a few weeks to regain ourselves and we remembered what we learned from The Secret. Have faith and believe! Be and feel grateful!

We got a call from the other driver’s insurance and they said they accept full responsibility and they would pay us $7,000. This was more than enough to fix our car back to it’s good condition, mechanically and aesthetically.

After about a year, our BluBerry is finally getting fixed and it is all paid for. We have even come across good fortune to have another car to drive while our car is getting fixed.

In addition, my brother has stopped causing trouble for us and we are working towards moving into our own home.

We did not know how it could be done and did not expect for it to turn out this way. We placed our faith and trust on the Universe and what we asked for, we received. Furthermore, our family is stronger and now growing, I am expecting another child.

The Universe has it’s mysterious ways of working things out for you and although it may seem like your life is going down and things seem worse than it really is, KEEP YOUR FAITH, BELIEVE, AND BE GRATEFUL, because in a flash your life could just bounce straight up and you’ll feel like you are walking on clouds.

I hope my long but hopefully inspiring story gives others strength and faith in the Universe and The Secret. We are very grateful of what we have learned from watching The Secret and reading the books. We are grateful to the Universe for providing for our family, keeping us safe, and helping us everyday. We are also grateful to pass on this knowledge to our six-year-old son (and then eventually to our daughter) who is now using The Secret and thanking the Universe everyday.
