This incident happened a few months before I was introduced to The Secret. I am an Advocate by profession practicing in New Delhi. In the year 2017 I quit my job with a law firm as I was looking for work in an Advocate’s chamber. I started applying to multiple places and two days before my notice period was getting, I got an offer from an Advocate who was willing to keep me as his junior. I was overwhelmed and my happiness knew no bounds. I was also oblivious to what was waiting for me in the next couple of days.

I celebrated for the next two days and joined his chamber on Jan 01, 2018. Everything went just fine. I came back home after work and woke up the next morning all prepared to go to work. Sometime in the afternoon that day, my Senior who I was working under, called me and informed me of his unwillingness to continue working with me. For the next 5 minutes I could not believe my ears and thought it was a bad dream! Then I shook myself hard, only to realise that all of it was painfully true.

Since childhood I had always been immensely passionate about litigation and I never saw myself doing anything but that. The fact that I was fired on my second day and a day before my birthday, did not sink in well. I came back home teary eyed, shattered and did not have the courage to step out for the next couple of days. To add to the difficult situation, I had very little savings in my account and I was living in a PG accommodation with no relatives in Delhi.

Amidst all this, there was this one thing that I was very sure about, and that was that I still wanted to be in litigation. That’s where I unknowingly drew the law of attraction towards me. My love and passion for litigation overlooked the difficulties and I kept telling myself that I would find a better job very soon. I spoke to and met every possible person, and as the book says, the ‘how’ it will happen is not the question. Just ask the Universe and it will get it to you. Correctly, the Universe did get it to me, and that too, in less than a week I had manifested my current job.

For all those people who are reading this, the law of attraction and The Secret is the law of love. People say that when you want something from your heart, the entire Universe comes together to give you what you want. Yes, I totally believe in this. After I read the book and I looked back on my life, I could actually see how the law of attraction had worked for me in all areas of my life.

Most importantly, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude towards the Universe for making things happen for me. This, as well as  my gratitude towards Rhonda Bryne for bringing this book amongst people like us, will probably short fall of words.

Today and for many years, I have been wanting to start my own practice in litigation in New Delhi. I am sure beyond belief that the Universe is already working on my wish right now just like the Genie, and it will get it to me.
