The biggest revelation for me that I took from “The Secret” was the definition of the words “Wealth” and “Abundance”. I always associated these words with money, and I thought I lacked both in my life. Then about a year ago I discovered the TRUE meaning of these words, and they impacted my life profoundly.

Last year I was unemployed for a time, and my bills piled up and I had a loan that almost defaulted. While things got worse, I just continued to scream “NO!” at my financial problems. Then, I would get depressed over my financial situation and it just seemed that my money problems kept piling up. I watched “The Secret” and read the book to figure out what I was doing wrong. I then found out that my definitions of “Wealth” and “Abundance” were way off. Once I knew what they meant, it opened my eyes to an unseen part of my financial situation. The next step I had to take, and this was by far the hardest, was to say “Yes!” to my debts and bills. I now realize that when you have a bill you are in fact paying for a service. When you pay that bill you are in fact saying to the Universe: “Yes, I have money to pay for that and much more!”

It felt so great when I started paying off my bills, and as of now my bills are shrinking and the phone calls from collectors have stopped and my life has become more enjoyable and SO MANY more financial opportunities have arisen in my life. So I give thanks and joy for the money that I have now and the money that I will have in the future!
