I first realised the power of the law of attraction in 2005. I had been shopping in a department store in Canterbury for an outfit for a wedding that I had been invited to. During my expedition I stumbled across the most perfect shoes; they were red satin, and had a cluster of gem stones on the front. I knew I had found exactly what I had been searching for. There were two problems. One, they were out of my price range, and two, they were not available in my size. I must admit I was a little disappointed, but then I thought to myself that if the universe wants me to have these shoes then they will come to me.

Several weeks later I happened to be surfing the internet when I decided to have a browse around eBay. I suddenly remembered the shoes I had seen and had desperately wanted, so I decided to have a look on the off chance. Would you believe, I found them on the very first web page that came up, and they were my exact size and they were brand new! All I had to do now was to win them, but I knew I would. I put in a fairly high bid for them, knowing their true value, and I did indeed win them. I paid less than the full price for them. I still have the shoes today and don’t feel I’ll ever be able to part with them. I call them my ruby slippers! 🙂
