I am engaged in starting a new business and have been presenting the business plan for several weeks. As convinced as we are that this idea has serious upside, it has been challenging to prove that to investors. It’s a new concept, and it rethinks the standard supply chain business model.

I read Jack Canfield’s book, “Success Principles”, which led me to John Assaraf and Murray Smith’s “The Answer”, which finally led me to finally read “The Secret”. I read it YESTERDAY. I was on board immediately, as I thought about all the good things that happened in my life and realized that I was using the Secret without even knowing it. (That applies to the bad things that have been happening as well, because I wasn’t aware of the Secret.) I immediately applied the principles to my business plan, and at 2 p.m. got a call from an investor I contacted months ago. After a long discussion, I told him it would take about 100k to begin operations and provide a down payment for leased equipment. He didn’t hesitate a moment before informing me he was behind us, and we are meeting this week to finalize our agreement!

Faith is a wonderful thing.
