Relax, it is easier than you think
So often when we feel we need the faith to pray for things, never mind the actual things, that is when it all eludes us, precisely when we could be most doing with it. The inability to properly concentrate, the desperation, do no favours.
I had done The Secret to some extent, both unwittingly before I knew about it, and later deliberately, with varying success. Often a case of ‘one step forward, two back’. It was enough to know there is something in this Law of Attraction, both what we attract and repel.
I always promised myself I would write in whenever my goals had been properly achieved. Well, it is still a work in progress but I can now report two substantial results
My relationship which seemed dead to the point of oblivion has now been rekindled and he is bringing me chocolate and champagne and wooing me all over again, wanting to discuss the future and, if anything, being a bit ‘too much’. And after being made redundant twice in short order, I am now registering self-employed in what promises to be a viable little business. Where opportunities seemed impossible, inspiration and optimism now prevail.
It all seems to be about believing and not stressing about the outcome, or necessarily how it will be brought about. In the case of the job I only knew the broad type of work I am best at and the ideal hours I would choose and then added the fantasy of being able to work from home… and hey presto! It is not to say hard work does not play its part.
My next goal is to lose the extra pounds, but I am not going to be rigid in my regime here. I am going to remain open to inspiration along the way with an open heart, do my best and trust the process to do the rest.
