I had several signs thrown at me to read The Secret. It took me a couple of months but once I read it my whole life changed. It started with a parking space or a cup of my favorite coffee, even getting a booth at a restaurant.

Over the last couple of years I have received money when I wasn’t sure how I was going to pay the rent, pay bills, etc. It just always ended up appearing at the right time. And if doesn’t appear it’s OK because there is a reason it didn’t and that’s because there is something better coming. I could go on and on about the winks from the Universe (this is what my kids and I call them) we have received over the years. I wanted to tell everyone about a very special wink I just received this Christmas.

I noticed on my cousin’s Facebook that she had a lot of negative comments mostly about finances and how she felt like a failure to her kids that she would have no money to buy her five children presents. Deep in my heart I know I had to do something to help but I am living paycheck to paycheck at this time myself and had the money I needed to buy my kids presents only. I asked the Universe to help me, so without even knowing how I was going to pull it off, I invited my cousin and her kids to Christmas dinner. She was so happy and excited that the kids would have Christmas dinner and be with family. I didn’t worry about how I was going to do it because I knew the Universe was going to wink and help me.

The Universe winked at me and when I stopped for a beer at a local grill and bar. I put $20.00 in a video poker machine and ended up winning enough money to not only buy the fixings for a great Christmas for 12 people, I was able to buy her family a Wii with tons of games for all the age groups. I was able to buy my kids better gifts and I still have money to put in a savings I didn’t have before.

The look on the those kids face and watching them play, was the best gift I could have received. My cousin was so grateful and now we are gong to spend more time together. I believe! I read The Secret and The Power almost everyday. I write in my grateful journal thanking the Universe for each and every wink!
