I have known about The Secret for years and have tried to apply it on and off since I first saw the documentary, but unfortunately I was always the person who gave up quickly when I didn’t see results. It’s not that I didn’t believe in The Secret, it’s just that I didn’t have the patience.

In the past few months things have not been going well at my job. I had been telling myself I need to find a new job and constantly complaining about my job. When I finally started looking for a job, I was stressed because it was hard to schedule interviews while I still had a job. In a nutshell, I was being very negative and attracting more negative things to me.

I’m not sure what triggered it but I decided to watch The Secret again and I read The Power. I thought about a lot of things that had been happening lately and realized how I attracted those things to myself through my negative thinking. I decided to have a more positive, happy attitude.

One of the things that stressed me out about work was waking up early and getting there on time. I have to wake up super early and I have long commute via public transportation. The first night I asked to have a peaceful sleep and to wake up feeling refreshed and full of energy and I absolutely did. As I commuted to work that day, I repeated “The buses and trains arrange themselves so that I am always on time to work.”

And low and behold the first day my regular train ended up being rerouted on a route that made me get to my stop 20 minutes early. I was amazed at how wonderfully and perfectly The Secret worked.

After that I started immersing myself in books about LOA including The Magic and writing down my wishes, as well as the things I’m thankful for almost every night. I decided this time I was going to practice The Secret faithfully and be patient. I had been focusing my attention on acquiring 1,000 dollars but then I started to be vague and was just trying to attract money in general.

A few days ago I bought 3 scratch off tickets and told myself no matter what happens I will be okay. I did not win any money off the scratch offs but I did win a free take five game, which also has the potential to win me money. I didn’t get upset like I usually would in the past, instead I was happy that I won something and I said thank you. As I write this I don’t know the outcome of that take five game but I’m feeling very positive about it.

But what really blew my mind is when I received a text alert from my bank last night saying money was deposited into my account. When I checked I had an extra $37 in my account literally out nowhere!!

I had about $1 and change in my account to hold me over until payday so an extra $37 was truly amazing to me. It is the first time I’ve ever attracted money using LOA. I’m extremely happy, excited, and grateful for this wonderful gift from the universe. It’s given me so much more faith that I can make my dreams come true and live an amazing life of abundance.
