I first discovered The Secret about two years ago after reading the book. I fully believed in it and everything that was said. I remember reading the part about attracting something small to assure to yourself that it is true. So two years later I finally decided I should try this out. I thought of something completely random, something that if I manifested it, I would know it was because of The Secret. I thought and came up with a 50 cent coin. So I asked for it, believed I had it and felt the feeling of having it now. Then I released it into the Universe.

A week had gone by and nothing had happened. I was out at lunch with my friends and I thought maybe I should speak this into reality. I asked “Hey, does anyone have a 50 cent coin?” All of them said no, except for one of my friends, Mo. I said “Wow can I have it?” and he said “No” because they were rare so he keeps it for good luck. So I asked him if I could just hold it for a little bit because I wanted to have and know that feeling of having it in my possession. I returned it to him and carried on.

Two weeks went by and to be honest I was starting to lose hope a little bit. I was thinking maybe I picked something too rare because, let’s face it, you’re not going to find this on the ground somewhere and people do not typically give 50 cent coins out as change. But then finally, it manifested.

I was walking with a group of my friends to a restaurant when one of my buddies, Mark, decided before the walk that he wanted to grab a snack at the gas station. He returns and as he’s coming back he mutters just barely loud enough for me to hear him “A 50 cent coin, what the hell am I supposed to do with that?”. My ears perked up and my eyes widened and asked him “What did you just say?” And he respond “Oh nothing, I bought a snack and the clerk gave me back change of a dime and one giant 50 cent coin, like what am I supposed to do with this thing?”. I was shocked like I was meant to hear this so I asked him “Hey if you don’t want it can I have it?” He said “Yeah sure, as long as you buy me ice cream at the restaurant.”. All of my friends were laughing saying wow, he just ripped you off, but all I could do was smile at the 50 cent coin in my hand that I had manifested.

I hold this coin with me everywhere I go now for good luck. It tells me that the Universe works in mysterious ways. It may not be how you imagine something happening but the law of attraction is real. It is always a constant reminder that with unwavering confidence you can have anything you desire through your thoughts, words, and actions.
