My husband and I decided to go on a quick get away, just the 2 of us. We decided on Mexico after the recommendation of a friend who recently vacationed there. My mother agreed to watch our 9 year old daughter for us and so we booked it!!

As the time started to get closer to our departure, I started feeling excited, naturally. It had been 5 years since we vacationed alone without our daughter. A few days before we were set to leave Toronto, I started to check the weather. It was calling for grey skies and thunderstorms and I was immediately saddened!!! What!!??? That can’t be!!??? Not on my vacation!!??

So I stopped checking the weather so I would not depress myself. Then I remembered the LOA. There was no need to be sad because I could “change” the weather right now and right here, to the weather conditions I wanted!!!

I immediately started to visualize the warm rays of the sun beating down on me as I lounged under the cabana and palm trees, temprature of 30 degrees with clear, blue sky for miles!!!!! I felt so good and a huge smiled plastered my face!! The sea was nice and warm and calm, perfect for me who is a non swimmer. I continued visualizing this perfect weather of blue, clear skies and 30 degree weather every day until I left for my trip.

I have just returned from Mexico and am very happy to report that every single day that we were there the temperature was between 30-31 degrees during the day, with clear, blue skies for miles. It was exactly what I visualized!!!
