Hello Readers,

A few years ago I decided to purchase my next iPhone at Costco. Back then it seemed like a good idea. After making the purchase, I was told to expect a gift card soon and that it would be coming in the next 30 days.

A little over 30 days later I still had not received my gift card. So I called them up to find out what happened. I was told that it had been mailed, but that it was also untraceable. Instantly my spirits dropped. The only thing that I could do was just hope for the best.

Since that time and now many years later, I have another iPhone. Just a month ago my mom pulled out a bag filled with what she considered to be old ‘junk’ mail. It is hard to believe that she allowed something like that to happen. Pushing mail to the side is an absolute no-no in my book.

And Lord have mercy! In that pile, she found my gift card! I was extremely surprised that it showed up. And what was even more surprising was that it was still available to use!! I now have a hundred dollars to use to shop at Costco!! Yes! And it just so happens that it had all happened in perfect timing!
