Growing up as a girl means you will receive thousands tips or advice on beauty, especially about your skin. I grew up and my female cousins or my girlfriends would tell me that I need to eat certain types of food to keep my skin healthy. Or I need this brand of cosmetics to make my skin look better and things like that.

To tell the truth, I’ve never listened to those things. Whenever I look into a mirror, I tell myself that my skin is perfect the way it is regardless of what I eat or what I do. Once in a blue moon, I do get a few pimples but I just told myself that they’d all be gone in the morning. And, like magic, I wake up and my skin is perfect again.

When I got to see The Secret movie about 1 year ago, I knew that I had been using it for such a long time without even knowing it. People ask me all the time about what type of cream do I use or what do I eat. I say I only use cleanser that costs me $10.00 and it lasts for a year.

If you are having troubles with your skin, stop listening to what others say you should do. Listen to your own skin and it will tell you exactly what you need to do. I use a cleanser because I feel like I need to do that for my skin. Just remember that Nobody knows you better than yourself.
