After having listened to the Oprah show in February, I went out and purchased the book, the DVD and the audiobook for my IPOD. I spoke about the Secret with everyone in my circle of friends and acquaintances. I probably have listened to the audiobook 6 or 7 times and have watched the DVD at least the same. My friends commented on the change in me after the first weekend. I have become so much more positive, never realizing just how negative I had been.

My new attitude was put to the test recently as I was laid off March 9th, due to corporate restructuring after working for this company for a few years. The day that I was laid off, I felt such gratitude (a very strange turn of events for me) and I was SO HAPPY. I called my friend and was laughing when I left her the message on her answering machine.

I called an agency I had worked with in the past and told them I was out of work and available. I left everything in their hands. I got busy and sat down to figure out just exactly what it was that I wanted from a job. I didn’t even write it down on paper, just stated my intentions to the Universe.

I received a call from the agency for an interview, and start my PERFECT job on Monday April 9th. This job is everything I asked for and more.
