I have been using The Secret for years and it always works for me, to varying degrees depending what I ask for. I have found manifesting material items very easily, getting exactly what I imagined and in my price range. However, the one thing I found hard to manifest was a sum of money. But now I found the key!!!

My husband and I had bought a holiday house and were slowly paying it off over a 25 year period. At about the same time, I wrote myself a cheque for $300,000 and put it in my wallet and wrote another one to put on the fridge for the same amount. This was what we needed to pay off the holiday house, plus some extra cash for doing up the property. I imagined a zero owed on our mortgage and it fully paid off and relaxing at the house and knowing it was all mine.

At first nothing happened. I put a date on the cheque for 31 October 2016. That date passed to no avail. Then we had a massive earthquake in New Zealand and the town most affected was where our holiday house was situated. For several days we didn’t know if the house was standing or not, but it was a solid house with virtually no damage. The next week a friend found us tenants for our house and the payments perfectly covered the mortgage payments. We could rest easy for a while.

Then this year a mortgage guy grabbed me at a home show. He showed me he could save us over $200,000 in mortgage payments over the life of the mortgage and that we could pay it off in 7 years. I was astounded!!

Then we had several thousand come from weird places I would never have thought of; tax rebates, insurance payments, pay raise for my husband, more work for me etc. So that made us be able to pay that mortgage off in 3-5 years. It was thousands and thousands!! We are nearly at the $300,000 mark already and it was only a year ago that I wrote the cheque!

So in summary, once you decide on a goal, then the money will come. My goal was to pay off the mortgage on our property and we are over halfway paid off now. For me, if I ask for money for no particular reason, it won’t come. If I have a goal and focus on it, the money flows! Thank you!
