Hi, thank you all so much for this gift.

Let me start by saying growing up, we had enough to live on, but we were not affluent. When my father died, I wanted this to change and wanted more from life. I am not a religious guy, but I turned to God asking for change, and nothing happened. So, I went back to being my atheist self.

During this time, I was discovering YouTube videos about the power of the mind and psychic abilities, something that I am a big believer in.

My girlfriend bought me a Kobo eReader for my birthday because I had said I wanted to read more. Going through the online store, I came across the law of attraction books, including The Secret. The cover looked mysterious and enticing and somehow very familiar.

I started reading The Secret, and it mentioned that there was also a movie version of The Secret. I searched Netflix, hoping that I would find it there, and I did! That is why it felt familiar. I had not paid anything attention to it before, but now I was intrigued it was coming to me, so I read the book and watched the film.

I decided to look back at how I had unknowingly used the law of attraction in the past. What I discovered shocked me and strengthened my faith. I wanted to ask God for change, and now the Universe has given me the tools to change.

I was out of work a number of years back and wanted a job. My mum was stressing that I was not looking for one, but being the optimistic person I was, I would always respond that the right one would come along, and I truly believed this. Four months later, I started a job as a hospital maintenance staff.

I am the only smoker on my shift. I know that it is bad for me, but I thought it would be nice to have a smoking partner. Then, a vacancy was filled with a smoker. Someone who I would never have given the time of day before, yet we became good friends. He shared my thoughts on the power of the brain, a powerful yet not fully explored entity. I believe this to be a case of “like attracts like”. He, too is reading and watching The Secret.

I was thinking that I would like to go into the property maintenance business but I had doubts. Yet, out of the blue, I had three private jobs just come to me. The Universe is showing me to have faith, and it will come.

Now that I have had these amazing experiences, plus many more, showing me that the law of attraction really does work, my faith has become so strong. This was all within a week of discovering The Secret. The Universe is currently working on a new drill as my one broke, which I am grateful for as it allows me to receive a new drill.
