Thank you so much to everyone reading this story, I hope this inspires you in one way or another. Thank you Rhonda for the great knowledge of The Secret and thank you to everyone who published their stories as they have kept me feeling uplifted when I needed it.
I live in the UK and anyone who lives here knows that passing a driving test here is hard but to do it on the first attempt is just short of a miracle. I was having a hard time with my driving. I could not keep up with the classes and they were expensive since the prices were hiked due to the ongoing war that led to fuel prices going up. On top of all that, there was a backlog from Covid. I had taken my theory test and passed it after the first attempt just before Covid happened. The theory test expires after two years and due to the Covid lockdown, I had lost a lot of time. I was panicking as I was running out of time and did not want to do the theory test again. I was not doing well in classes and it had become stressful.
One day I was on The Secret website reading stories for motivation and decided to use The Secret for my test. I wrote how I wanted my test to go, and what my examiner would be like. I was so detailed about how I wanted everything to go. I visualized how I would call my family to share the great news of passing my test. I wanted to pass my test in the summer so that by winter I would be driving and not have to deal with public transport in the cold.
A week before my test, I had a crash course with my instructor. I even booked a class just before my test. On the day of the test, my instructor took a quiet test route. I did all the necessary stops and corrected everything that was still missing. We went to the test center and my instructor wished me well.
I was so nervous, but said my thank yous and waited for my examiner. She turned out to be so nice and chill, we even held a conversation the entire time and my nervousness disappeared. But what stood out the most is that the test route I had gone through with my instructor that morning was the same test route she examined me on! What are the odds?! There are 8 test routes but she chose that one. I knew everything I was doing, all the road signs and markings.
When we went back to the test center, my examiner said I had passed. I was so happy and said my thank yous, the day was perfect as I had pictured it. I called my loved ones and gave them the good news. Everyone was so happy and surprised I had passed on the first attempt as it is not easy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I promised myself if I passed on my first attempt before my theory expired that I would post this story here for anyone who needs some sort of motivation in a situation that feels impossible.
Be clear on what you want step by step. Write it down and read it to yourself until it is believable in your mind. Visualize the outcome as much as you can as this puts you in alignment with what you want.
Thank you so much to everyone for even reading this far, magical dust on you all!
