I have had a not very prosperous business for 12 years. We are reps for a terrific wellness products company, but while we are reps we have our own businesses. When reps grow their business each year the company rewards the team for a job well done with a great incentive trip, 6 days, all expenses paid, 5 star hotels, dreamy locations…
Every year whenever a trip destination was announced I always had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. Whenever I even thought of the trip I would have that heavy sinking feeling that we wouldn’t be able to qualify, that it was TOO HARD.

Then about a year ago I was reminded of the power of our thoughts with the brilliant clarity of The Secret movie, which led me to the audiobook. Shortly after learning about The Secret, which had a HUGE impact on me, I was so excited!!!! The new trip destination was announced. Of all the places it was Hawaii. Wow! But this time I had a very different reaction. My very first thought was a little uncomfortable, but I thought it loud and clear. I said in my mind, “We’re going.”

The interesting thing was that no matter what, every single time I thought about the Hawaii trip I would see myself walking on the beach, or I would say to myself, “We’re going to Hawaii!” I put up pictures all over the house of Hawaii beaches, leas, little hoola girls in grass skirts. Since I work from home I was seeing these pictures a lot, and every time I saw a picture I said to myself, “We’re going to Hawaii.” I was living in my mind walking on the beach, the feeling of the tropical beaches.

It’s funny that over the last 12 years I had heard people say this is what they did to get to the incentive trip, but it wasn’t until The Secret info came along and made it so clear and obvious what we need to do to attract ANYTHING at all into our lives.

I kept plugging along trying to get the 300 points required, and there wasn’t even once that I despaired thinking we wouldn’t make it. I just had a big smile on my face and when I would get even one point for Hawaii I would do a little dance like I was about to board the plane… that was how I felt inside.

All of a sudden the qualification date came near, and I still had about 119 points to go. But I made a plan, and I wasn’t worried. NOT IN THE LEAST (in the past I would have gone to that place of FREAK OUT). But I was calm, relaxed. I had my plan and I was working it…

It’s funny though because those points did not come from me working the plan. They actually came from a completely unknown, untapped place, like a jewel hidden in my robe that was there all along.
We qualified early and so now I am focusing not on getting those points (since we have more than enough and have qualified for the trip), but on building my business to a level I had never dreamed possible before. And we will be there too. I know it. I feel it. I see it: $100,000 income within the next 6 months. Now I know I can do it thanks to the clarity offered by The Secret.
