I began reading The Secret some months back, and the first thought that passed through my mind was – I have to try this!

So, I kept thinking positive thoughts all the time, and to my utter joy, little things began to click in my life.
I’ve listed three small instances:

1. One day I was flicking through channels, and I had the inexplicable desire to watch the music video of Bon Jovi’s “It’s my Life”. I switched to VH1, and the next song that came up? Yes, you guessed it!

2. I had to wake up early to study for an exam the next day. I decided to give my alarm clock a miss. Instead, I said to myself firmly, “I’ll wake up when the hands of the bedroom clock are positioned at ten minutes to 6 (an obscure time, just to check!). I opened my eyes the next morning, and voila! The clock showed exactly that very time.

3. One of my childhood friends, lives very far away, and we hadn’t spoken in years. I had just been wishing that my friend and I could go out and have fun. Out of the blue we got talking, made plans and went on to have the best day in a long, long time.

These are simple little joys that the Universe brought to me…I can’t wait to see what unfolds in the future!
