Where do I start! The Secret has changed my life tremendously! I am 31 years old and my dream job was to work at a well renowned bank in my country. However, this company only employed people 25 years and under because you had to start at entry level and move up the latter. In 2013 I had applied and nothing happened. I would have already passed through two jobs and had to leave the latter because I became pregnant with my now 4 year old son. During my pregnancy, the bank called me but I wasn’t hired because I was pregnant. I was sad and depressed and I guess it made my pregnancy harder on me.

When my son was 2 I again applied because I was ready to go back out to work but getting a job was such a task. No one called back and I was in such a funk.

I then recalled some years earlier that one of my cousins told me about The Secret. She had who used it to get pregnant when doctors told her she couldn’t. I had to try it! I was on my laptop and researched it and then I became obsessed. I watched the movie and got my own copy of the book. I started to live by The Secret.

I created a vision board and took a picture of the bank and put it there. When anyone asked where I was working, I would just say “I’m waiting for the bank to call me and it should be any day now”. I took the bank’s uniform and edited it on to one of my pictures and had it as my screensaver. Every time I saw the picture I was grateful for my job. I got my work outfits set out like that job was mine.

Lo and behold they called me! I did my interview and they wanted me to start right away but my son was not well and as much as I wanted this job I couldn’t leave my son. I told them I could not start the job because my son wasn’t well. They said they were sorry and hung up. But I knew that job was meant for me.

Two weeks later they called me again and told me the job offer was still available to me!

Today I am working at the best job ever, around the best people, for the best company there is and I am super grateful! Before I turned thirty I became a permanent employee and I now own my home and have a family, which is what I have always wanted!
