First off I’d like to thank everyone who contributed to this wonderful site whether you posted a story or helped in it’s creation.

Long story short, my family’s home was in tax foreclosure, our lovely home which I grew up in was to be sold in a tax auction in the next 5 months. The sad part about that was it was a mistake as we overlooked the mail and missed the deadline to pay the taxes by days. When we called the county treasurer we were told there is nothing we can do, it’s too late, the county owns our home now. We got a lawyer and went court to try to reason with judge and hoped and prayed that they would give us a chance to pay our taxes.

I used the law of attraction. I listened to The Secret day and night I looked for quotes and imagined the judge saying that we had another chance to pay. Numerous people had also been in this situation and there are stories of people who lost their home after fighting with the courts for a second chance. They also had an attorney and still lost their homes. However, I tried blocking those stories and thoughts out I kept thinking; this is our home, this is our home.

We went to court and of course there were many people there for the same reason as us. As we waiting in the courtroom for our time to ask for a second chance, people with similar cases as our were denied. When it was our turn their case was clear, they had pictures and signatures of documents that we signed which had specific dates on them as to when the taxes were to be paid. It clearly looked like a “case closed” situation as we were at fault.

But, we were given a second chance !!!!!

Everybody else with the same situation was turned down but we were given a second chance, it was nothing but God and The Secret that saved us! It is true what you believe becomes your life! And I believed that we were going to keep our home, it didn’t matter that other people who were in the same situation had lost the battle. My faith was so strong that I chose to ignore what it was, and looked at the situation as how I wanted it to be. Was there times I was scared and fearful? Yes, but I jumped back to saying I know, like I know, like I know this is our home.

For anyone who is in a similar situation or just looking for hope that the impossible can happen, I hope that this inspires you and lifts your spirits because it can happen and will happen if only you believe! Miracles happen every day, there is no such thing as impossible!!

I now know my powers and how strong I am, I hope that you all realize it too.
